The Advisory Council of the Central Oregon Council on Aging ensures community input and participation in the development of priorities and delivery of services in our service area. The Council also reviews and comments on policies, programs and actions that affect older persons.
The Advisory Council is comprised of a maximum of 15 members and the membership is made up of more than 50% older persons 60+. Terms of membership are limited to a three-year period and members can serve no longer than six consecutive years on the council.
The Advisory Council meets on the first Friday of every month at 10 a.m. at the Bend COCOA office.
