Funding comes from Federal, State and local
resources, program contributions, free-will
donations and are made possible by the help
of countless volunteers serving thousands of
hours.

Programs vary according to location and
population being served. All sites offer
congregate and home-delivered meals, but
the weekly number of days served varies from
one to five. Other activities such as
socializing, dancing, health clinics, programs
and games are offered at all sites.

The requirements at the different sites may
vary slightly, but generally seniors must be
60+ or accompany an eligible spouse. Serving
hour are generally noon; reservations are not
required except for certain special events;
donations are requested; diabetic diets are
provided; meals are generally conservative in
fat and salt and at certain sites transportation
maybe available to those who require it.

Home delivered meals (Meals-on-Wheels) are
delivered between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on
the same days as site meals. Frozen meals
are an alternative when hot meals are not
available.
