Surprisingly, we are finding that many people don’t realize that the Council on Aging provides a comprehensive selection of services to the most vulnerable senior citizens of our area. The combination of professional staff and active, caring volunteers makes it possible for this segment of our population to receive the support and services they so critically need. Without the Council on Aging, many of these programs would not exist and at-risk seniors would be denied the care and help they need to live more healthy and independent lives.
