Our Community Garden Party truly fosters a sense of community as we learn about gardening and caring for our health. The Party is held the Saturday before Mother’s Day at the Prineville Presbyterian Church from 10 am to 2 pm. It’s FREE and fun!
We have around 20 booths with a variety of fun activities. With free veggie starts, gardening tips, Master Gardeners learning station, composting, pollinator station, red wigglers, Latino dancing sessions and kids activities like Plant a “Salad Bowl”, potato dig, Storytime in the Garden, Kids Zone Outdoor Games, Hug a Tree with a Search and Rescue Dog, and garden crafts – there is something for everyone in your family!
Lots of information is shared to help you grow your own fresh produce. Don’t have space for your own garden? Come by and learn how to utilize our local community gardens!
