Council on Aging offers quarterly group nutrition education classes at all of our congregate meal sites throughout Central Oregon. Nutrition education classes promote better health and well-being by providing accurate nutrition, physical fitness, or health information. Programs are presented by a registered dietitian and include a number of topics, including but not limited to:
- Food safety and preparation
- Adaptive dining needs
- Menu planning and food budgeting
Here are some of the materials covered in previous nutrition classes that you can download to view or print. We will continue to add new material these as classes occur.
