The Council on Aging’s Strategic Plan for fiscal year 2024-2026 is laid out here.
To meet our mission and move towards our vision, the Council on Aging will focus on the following goals and strategies over the next three years. By implementing these goals, we seek to meet the objectives described for each.
Goal 1: Develop partnerships to expand support for seniors
- Improve access and resources in rural areas and tribal communities.
- Create crisis management plan with community partners.
Goal 2: Deliver high quality programs across Central Oregon
- Update service and community needs assessment to ensure changing needs post-pandemic are addressed.
- Continued enhancement of DEI in service design and delivery.
Goal 3: Strengthen the COA organization for a sustainable future
- Improve employee satisfaction and growth.
- Increase and retain government and foundation financial support and private donations.
